a business to do

the bookkeeping.

For business owners who tried QuickBooks and decided life is too short for all of that, I'll be your proactive money manager making sure you have enough money in the bank to run your business efficiently.

Christine Hall, Sugar Land bookkeeper, holding client files
Hey! I'm Christine.

I keep the books.

You keep your sanity.

I spent 20 years as a business journalist interviewing founders to learn and understand their pain points, business goals, successes, and failures. Now I put that expertise to work, partnering with you and your company to identify where your business can save money, be ready for tax time, and give you more hours in the day to do what you like to do. Based in Sugar Land, TX, I serve Missouri City and Houston-area businesses.

Questions

Qs

How do you price your services?

Pricing depends on your monthly transactions, the bills and invoices you run through, and whether you want payroll or sales tax handled.

Do you work with my software?

QuickBooks is where I'm most at home, but I'll learn whatever you already use. Xero, Aplos, something else entirely, not a problem.

HOW DO I SEND FILES SECURELY?

Collect receipts and bank statements in a shared Google Drive or Dropbox folder. On QuickBooks, you can email or upload them straight in.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO GET STARTED?

Three things: user access to your software, bank statements or view-only access to the account, and your most recent tax return.

BOOKKEEPER VS. ACCOUNTANT?

I keep your books accurate and current so you're deciding from real numbers. An accountant takes that data and plans the long-term tax strategy.

CAN WE TALK BEFORE I DECIDE?

Absolutely! The free consult is for exactly this. Bring the questions I didn't answer here and we'll sort out what you need on the call.
